About Tariq

I have been raising money for the Candlelighters Trust and some other charities by organising few charity events in the village i.e Yorkshire Three peaks walk, Bramhope 10K, Quiz Nights, run a mile and getting teams together to take part in the Leeds Half Marathons etc. I am very lucky that I have been able to raise nearly £8K – 10K every year for the last 14-15 years. With the help of 100’s of amazing, dedicated, wonderful volunteers and generous support from the village, we have managed to raise £67,000 for Candlelighters, a small children’s cancer charity for Yorkshire. From my small shop in the village, we have also raised nearly £65,000 for a dozen or so other charities at this time.

All the money donated / raised from this years run will go directly to the chosen charities so please donate whatever you can!

THANK YOU – Tariq Khan
